Why "The Morning Table?"
The Morning Table is more than a devotional podcast. It’s a safe space for those who carry the weight of creativity and for anyone who simply needs encouragement in the middle of life’s everyday struggles. Born out of a desire to give creatives a place to pause, reflect, and reconnect with God, The Morning Table exists to remind us that our creativity and our strength don’t flow from striving alone, but from walking daily with the Father.
Each episode is designed as a “booster” for your week: a few minutes of scripture, reflection, and prayer to renew both your spirit and your imagination. Here, you don’t have to perform, produce, or push past the weariness. You can just sit with God, breathe, and be reminded that His presence is enough. Because even in the waiting, even in the quiet, we are not waiting on Him from a distance. We are waiting with Him, side by side.
The name “The Morning Table” reflects the truth that our mornings often set the tone for our entire day. When we intentionally choose to place our minds and hearts with God first, we give Him room to shape not only the hours ahead but the way we show up in our creativity, our work, our homes, and our relationships. This table is an invitation to start your day with presence, peace, and purpose.
Whether you’re a songwriter, painter, teacher, parent, or simply someone needing fresh encouragement, you’ll find belonging here. The Morning Table drops a new episode every Tuesday, offering a moment of stillness in the midst of your week to help you refocus on what matters most: God's presence, His peace, and His purpose for your life.
